Your Third Eye Chakra – How to Open Your Third Eye

Your Third Eye Chakra – How to Open Your Third Eye
The third eye is the sixth chakra in the kundalini system. It is placed at the middle of the forehead between the eyebrows. Activation meditation can help you open your chakra and stimulate it, but first you may want to learn some basic information about this chakra before doing 3. eye exercises.
Basic Information
Colour: the colour of the third eye is purple. This can be a very useful information in your meditation so that you have a specific colour to visualize to help you connect with this 3rd eye.
Sanskrit Name: Ajna
Characteristics: This specific chakra is one of the chakras that is not connected to our physical body and the earth. The third eye is more connected to our spirituality and the spiritual world. It is also connected to our psychic skills, so if you want to start working with your spirituality and psychic abilities, you may want to learn more about this chakra.
Third Eye Activation Meditation
Find a calm place for you to practice your meditation exercise without being disturbed. Turn of all the many electrical gadgets and find a comfortable meditation posture. Sit with your back straight, and take a short minute to calm your mind and body.
Step 1
Close your eyes and take some deep slow cleansing breathes in through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Allow yourself to totally relax. Let the air carry out all the frustration from your body and mind. Notice yourself becoming more and more relaxed and calm with every inhalation and exhalation.
Step 2
Now, continue to breathe slowly and deeply but switch your focus to your third eye chakra in the middle of your forehead. Visualize that you are inhaling and exhaling through your third eye area. Inhale purple air into your body. Try to really feel the air as it enters your body through this chakra. Feel the psychic energy that fills your body and energizes you with new and loving energy. Exhale the air through your forehead as a drained plain air empty of energy.
Step 3
Don't force yourself to feel anything, but notice if you are feeling any strange sensation on your forehead such as a tingling feeling, which could indicate that your chakra is being stimulated. Do this third eye breathing for 20 minutes.
There are many other types of meditation techniques you can do to help you stimulate your third eye chakra. I suggest that you work with some different ones and see which ones give you the best results. But be patient and allow the chakra to open little by little. If you rush the exercises or become impatient it can ruin your practice and you may not get the greatest results. So give it time and practice your meditation frequently so that it will be a part of your daily routine, which will help it feel like a habit and something you want to do instead of something you have to do.
Remember that your third eye is just one chakra of the seven different chakras in the kundalini system, which are all equally important, so remember to also work on the rest of the system to create balance between the chakras.
